Recognition Program

STARS
(Succeeding Together As Responsible Students)

Centennial School has a student recognition program as a way to recognize students who demonstrate positive behaviors, effort and good citizenship skills. Students are recognized during school-wide assemblies that are held in September, November, January, March and May. Students are recognized in the following categories:

  • Hero Award - in recognition for being responsible citizen and a good community member
  • Achiever Award - in recognition for making growth or progress in any area
  • Scholar Award - in recognition for academic achievement

At each assembly, students receiving the awards receive a certificate and a gold star medal. Parents of the recognized students are contacted prior to each assembly so that they have the opportunity to attend.
