Fall Sports Winter Sports
Girls Soccer (Varsity & J.V.)
Grade Level: 9-12
Duration: March-May
Practices: Every day for 2 hours.
Description: Competitive soccer at the high school level.
Competitions: Weekly games
Coach: Varsitiy: Kevin Ainsworth & JV: John Arlt
Getting Involved: Attend informational meetings; contact coach.
Additional Information: Go through tryouts - 16 players per squad.
Girls Tennis
Grade Level: 9-12
Duration: March-May
Practices: Practice every night approximately 1 1/2-2 hours (4-5:30 or 6 p.m.)
Description: Interscholastic competition which includes duals and tournaments.
Competitions: 7 Varsity duals; 6 tournaments, 3 J.V. duals; 1 J.V. tournament
Coach: Mr. Licari
Getting Involved: Attend sign up meeting or first practice. Contact coach.
Additional Information: Must supply own rackets, shoes, clothing, etc. School provides balls.
Girls Track
Grade Level: 9-12
Duration: March-May
Practices: Daily for approximately 1 1/2-2 hours
Description: Girls track provides 16 different events that can suit any athlete’s need.
Competitions: Weekly dual, invitation, or conference; district and state meets.
Coach: Mr. Hopp, Mr. Wemhoff , Mr. Bills & Julie Kreikmeier
Getting Involved: Attend information meetings; contact coach.
Additional Information: The girls' track team has finished in the top 10 in class A for the last 10 years. The girls participate against all 32 class A track teams throughout the year. We have meets from Omaha and Lincoln to North Platte during the season.  
9th Girls Track
Duration: March-May
Practices: Daily for approximately 2 hours (4-6 p.m.).
Description: Track is a very unique sport because there is an event for everyone. It is a team and individual sport. The individual has an opportunity to choose any of the 14 events offered.  
Competitions: At least one meet per week may be some Saturday meets.
Coach: Ms. Rall
Getting Involved: Attend information meetings; contact coach.
Additional Information: Freshman have the opportunity to compete at the Varsity level.  
Baseball (Varsity & J.V.)
Grade Level: 9-12
Duration: March-May
Practices: Daily for approximately 2 hours (4-6 p.m.).
Description: Baseball, America’s National past-time, is a team sport that involved many skills. Players will be involved in interscholastic competition.  
Competitions: Approximately 2-4 games per week. JV approximately 2 per week.
Coach: Varsity: Mr. Mueller JV: Jimmy Johnson
Getting Involved: Attend information meetings; contact coach.
Additional Information: Summer American Legion Programs are also available.
Boys Golf
Grade Level: 9-12
Duration: March-May
Practices: 5 days per week, 2-2 1/2 hours
Description: Season includes duals, invitationals, district tournaments and state meet.
Competitions: Approximately one match per week
Coach: Mr. Brown
Getting Involved: Attend information meetings; contact coach.
Boys Soccer (Varsity & J.V.)
Grade Level: 9-12
Duration: March-May
Practices: Daily after school for approximately 2 hours (3:50-5:50 p.m.)
Description: Competitive soccer at the high school level. Included in this will be district and possibly state tournaments.  
Competitions: Weekly games
Coach: Varsity: Jamie Bennett & JV: Greg Buelt
Getting Involved: Attend informational meeting; contact coach.
Additional Information: Athletes must try out to make the team. 17-22 players per team.  
Boys Track
Grade Level: 9-12
Duration: March-May
Practices: Daily for approximately 1-2 hours
Description: Wide range of events students may participate in -throwing, jumping, running events. Competitive program with interscholastic competitions.  
Competitions: Weekly dual, invitational, or conference; district and state meets.  
Coach: Mr. Steiner
Getting Involved: Sign up at informational meeting; contact coach; attend first practice.  
9th Boys Track
Duration: March-May
Practices: Daily for approximately 1-2 hours
Description: Track and field events
Competitions: 1-2 meets per week
Coach: Mr. Clark
Getting Involved: Sign up at informational meeting; contact coach; attend first practice.
