Read Across America Spirit Week

Read Across America Day, formerly known as Dr. Seuss Day, was first instituted by the National Education Association in 1997. It is celebrated on the school day nearest to March 2nd, Dr. Seuss' birthday. In his lifetime, Theodor Seuss Geisel authored over 60 children's books that are still in many of our libraries today. This year, we invite our students to participate in Read Across America Spirit Week to celebrate a variety of well known books.
