A reminder that last evening was Daylight Savings Time--Fall Back -- You should of set clocks back 1 hour.
Parents, please be reminded when picking your student up at the end of the day, to briefly stop along the right side curb to quickly pick up your child. We have staff helping in the crosswalks and to assist students with paying attention and looking for their ride. Also, please refrain from parking in the bus lanes marked by red paint. This will help us to maintain an efficient pick up at the end of the day. Thanks for your patience and assistance with this issue.
This week we will be conducting our annual canned and dry goods food drive. This activity sponsored by our Lost Creek Student Council helps to replenish our local food pantry. Please look for the food drive letter went out Friday, or you can check our Lost Creek website for the informational letter under documents. This event will run from November 5 - 9. We were able to feed over 2,000 people last year. Thanks for your support with this important event!
Tuesday is Election Day, please get out there and vote!
Wednesday will be our regular 2:15 Early Dismissal.
Friday, November 9 at 10:30, we will conduct a Lockdown drill as per district policy. The purpose of this drill is for staff and students to practice locking individual classroom doors, moving room occupants out to the line of sight of hallway windows, and having the kids and adults maintain silence. This is our first Lockdown drill so we will be eager to learn and improve.
