The Hold directive is part of Columbus Public School’s  standard response protocol.  The purpose of this directive is to keep hallways and common areas clear.  This dirctive is typically used during a minor maintenance issue, a medical emergency or a localized disruption that requires students and staff to stay inside their current rooms untilt he way is clear.
