Good evening and welcome back to April!
Monday our 4th graders will be taking a field trip to Lincoln. They will be touring the Osborn Complex & Memorial Stadium, the Capitol Building and the Governor's Mansion. Exciting day! Please make sure your child is here on time as the busses leave right at 8:00am. They will return by 3:25.
Tuesday & Wednesday, our 3rd graders will blaze a trail by being the first grade level to take the Nebraska Student Centered Assessment System (NSCAS) formerly the NESA. Please make sure gets plenty of rest and comes to school in a great mood!
Tuesday evening is our Kindergarten and 4th Grade Spring Concert. This will be held at the Columbus Middle School Auditorium. Students need to be in their seats no later than 6:45, doors open at 6:30. Concert starts at 7:00pm.
Wednesday will be our regularly scheduled 2:15 Early Dismissal for building collaboration
Saturday, April 6th from 9:00 to 10:30, our Lost Creek PTO will be hosting Pastries with Parents. Special guests can also be grandparents, neighbors...This inaugural event will be held in the Lost Creek cafeteria. Coffee, Juice and various pastries will be provided for us to relax, visit and enjoy the most important meal of the day. RSVP sheets have been sent home, more available in our office and please return tomorrow if you are coming so we'll plan for enough food!
