Good evening and welcome back to February already!
Tuesday, February 4th at 7:00pm in our media center will be our PTO meeting. Hope to see you there as we plan for upcoming events.
On Wednesday, January 29, Columbus Public Schools celebrated I Love Public Schools day with all of our Nebraska Public Schools. From now to February 17 we will also be handing out #BeKindBucks for students exhibiting behavior that follows our Be Safe, Be Respectful, and Be Responsible expectations. Students will have their ticket placed in the #BeKindBox for a prize drawing.
Pennies for Patients is a program run by the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. They reached out to student council to organize and run a fundraising drive for blood cancer research. Student council gladly accepted the challenge. This is a 3 week fundraising drive, with different "themes" or incentives each week. This week them is as follows: Cash Candy - Purchase mini candy bars to send to students/staff at Lost Creek. Cost will be $0.50 each.
Wednesday will be our regularly scheduled 2:15 student dismissal for teacher collaboration.
