Good evening and welcome back to March! Hopefully it continues to roll in like a lamb and stay that way!

In celebration of Dr. Suess and Read Across America, we'll have a different fun theme every day this week. Please look for notes coming home about each day or you can check our website. Tomorrow is Mixed Up Monday, wear mismatched or clothes backwards.

This Friday, we'll be doing our "Principal Gets a Haircut" celebration for our students raising $1388.00 for the Pennies For Patients Leukemia and Lymphoma Cancer Research drive. We will do this in the gym at 3:00 as we kick off our spring break.

A reminder that students will be on Spring Break from March 9th to March 16th. Students will be back to school on March 17th. Please have a wonderful break!

The Columbus After School Program in collaboration with Beyond Schools is proud to announce its “City Build” project that kicks off March 2nd.  After School Program students at CMS and the five elementary schools will be tasked with building a scale model of their school and the surrounding area.  The six schools will combine their section of the city into one large display at a Family Night on April 22nd.  The goal of the “City Build” project is to make students more aware of their community and how the six school areas connect to make one city.  Students will put their observation, project management, and teamwork skills to the test while connecting to their community as they plan and build their section of the city!

Have a tremendous week and as always, Go Eagles!
