This has been a year of “Changes and Firsts” for many of us! Halloween is no exception! Every year at West Park our Halloween Celebration has been a time when we welcome families into our building to enjoy our parade of students decked out in their Halloween gear. Families would then join their children in classrooms and help with games and the passing out of treats.
This year our celebration was a little quieter than in the past. West Park started their festivities with a “Parade of Costumes”. But instead of gathering all staff and 220 students in the gym with families as in the past, we spread our parade route out throughout the school. After the parade our students returned to their classrooms and enjoyed games and treats with their teachers and friends.
