West Park held its annual K-2 Reading Activity Night in April. Students, families and staff met for a night centered around Earth Day and taking care of our planet. The students rotated through four fun events including physical movement based upon healthy earth choices, computer activities on recycling, making pinecone bird feeders and recycled bookmarks. Those in attendance were treated to a pizza, fruit and cookie dinner. Each student took home four books when they left the event. Thanks to our West Park students, families and staff for working together to plan such a fun event!
