Due to the weather, Friday's (Jan. 17) Varsity and JV basketball games scheduled against Lexington on have been postponed. Games have been rescheduled for Thursday, Feb. 13. JV Boys/Girls will start at 3:30; Varsity Girls at 5, and Varsity Boys at 6:30; all at Lexington HS.

We were happy to serve the staff at Lost Creek Elementary yesterday during its Christmas Social! It was "arm day" for our servers as they scoped and plated food for dozens of guests. We'll put our elbows on ice and be ready to celebrate next week! Thanks to those who came out!

It takes a strong man to lift it all, and a stronger district to collect it! A big thank-you goes out to the all of CPS for collecting 975 lbs of food Monday and Tuesday. The donation was dropped off at the Platte County Food Bank, where Mr. Loeffelholz help unload it!

Due to the uncertainty in the timing of the winter storm tomorrow, we will be cancelling the After School Program for Tuesday, November 26th. The After School Program will start back up on Monday, December 2nd. There are no decisions made at this point for other activities or classes.

The USDA Summer Lunch Program will run from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. May 30-July 26 Monday through Friday at CMS, 2200 26 St. There will be no lunch served on July 4 and 5. The meal is free to all children ages 1-18. Adults accompanying a child may eat for $3.75. All meals meet USDA nutrition standards. The USDA Summer Lunch program serves meals with milk, meat, fruit, vegetables & bread. The USDA Food & Nutrition Service prohibits discrimination on race, color, national origin, age, sex or disability.
