CHS has a history of partnering with local businesses to offer our students real world experiences.
One of the new opportunities offered at Columbus High School this year is within our Advanced Construction class taught by Mr. Marcus Gillespie.
This course will be partnering with Shelby Lumber to build a house in Columbus. The partnership will allow our student to learn all of the aspects of home construction from foundation to the finished product.
Within the next week students will begin work on the home and it will be on the market in the fall of 2021.
