Columbus Public Schools Receives $20,000 Cash for Classrooms Grant from Casey’s to Update Nantkes Auditorium for Professional Development Use.
Columbus, NE March 24, 2022 – Columbus Public Schools is a 2022 Casey’s Cash for Classrooms grant recipient. The school will receive $20,000 to help update the Nantkes Auditorium with a projector and drop down screen. This project will help Columbus Public Schools by making the Nantkes Auditorium a usable space for professional development, large parent meetings and student assemblies.
“We are grateful to receive a Cash for Classrooms grant from Casey’s and are excited to complete this project that will improve our students’ and teachers’ ability to learn and grow at Columbus Public Schools,” said Nicole Anderson, Marketing & Foundation Director for Columbus Public Schools. “Casey’s is a great community partner that gives back to many schools across its footprint, including ours, through this program.”

The project is expected to be completed by August 2022.
