Good evening and welcome back to our last week of January already!

As a reminder, now that we have some fun snow, we will always try to get outside for recess and give our students a chance to get some fresh air.  If the wind chill is 20 degrees or above and not raining, we'll try to get outside.  Please have your kids dress accordingly for the weather and write their names in their hats, coats, and gloves.

Our snow rules are no snowball throwing or kicking snow, no destroying other's snow creations without their permission during recess, and they must have waterproof snow boots they can change into to go into the snow, otherwise they'll stay on the cement and cleared areas.  Thanks for your help with this fun time!

Wednesday is a regularly scheduled 2:15 student dismissal for teacher collaboration.

This week our skill of the week will practice using respectful words.  Our teachers will introduce the skill to their students, and on Wednesday, cross-grade level partners will get together to practice this skill.  Using respectful words is a skill that can be practiced at home as well.

Please have a wonderful winter week and as always, Go Eagles!
