Good evening and welcome back from a relaxing Spring Break! Happy St. Patrick's Day tomorrow!
We hope it doesn't take long to get back into the routine of school after 10 days off. I know it can be tough, but we can do it! It's hard to fathom that the 4th quarter starts tomorrow. The last quarter will go by fast.
We want to invite you to a Community Forum for Columbus Public Schools on Thursday, March 19 at 6:00pm at the Middle School. Our schools are facing real space and growth challenges. One possible solution is a 4th–5thgrade building, but before any decisions are made, we need honest feedback from our community.
CPS will start the evening with a brief overview of the needs and the proposed idea, and then spend most of the time in small-group discussions so we can hear directly from you. This is about conversation, not persuasion. Your perspective truly matters, and strong attendance will help us determine the right path forward for Columbus.
I hope you can make it. Please feel free to invite friends and neighbors!
Wednesday is a regularly scheduled 2:15 student dismissal for teacher collaboration. Thank you for planning accordingly.
Our 4th grade will be attending Career Day at Columbus Central Community College the afternoon of Thursday, March 19th. This event gives our kids a chance to learn about various careers and programs available to them as they progress through the grades and explore options for their futures.
Thanks for your continued support of our schools and as always, Go Eagles!
