Go Eagles!
Good evening and welcome back!
Wednesday, we will be conducting our Evacuation Drill in the morning.  In the case of an emergency where we would have to evacuate the building, we go to the Berean Church directly to our east.  The drill will take place at 10:00 am in collaboration with our Columbus Police Department.
Wednesday will also be an early dismissal time of 2:15.

After three unsuccessful bond votes but a fantastic turn out at our March 19th Community meeting, we know one thing for certain - we need to continue listening!
Columbus Public Schools is hosting a Community Forum this Wednesday, May 13th at 6:00pm at the Columbus High School to inform the community of the results from the March 19th forum and to continue to discuss our facility needs and gather your feedback on 3 possible solutions.  These solutions include the proposed 4-5 building on the middle school site, a 4-5 building at a different location (TBD), and a new elementary building with additions to all 5 current elementary schools making elementary buildings K-5.
We will begin with a brief overview and then move to small-group discussions so we can hear directly from you. This is about conversation, not persuasion. Your voice matters. We hope you'll join us. *Interpretation will be available.
Thursday, our CHS Seniors will be doing their annual walk-through at approximately 10:15 as they prepare for graduation this Sunday afternoon.

Friday, our 1st Graders will be going on a field trip to the Lincoln Children's Museum and our 3rd Graders will be visiting the Platte County Museum in the morning as part of their social studies curriculum.  Our End of the Year Talent Show will be Friday afternoon at 2:30 in our gym.
Please have an exciting week and as always, Go Eagles!
