Columbus, NE - Columbus Public Schools has hired Mr. Jason Schapmann as the new Director of Human Resources/Fiscal Support for the 2024-2025 school year. Mr. Schapmann is currently serving his second year as the Superintendent of Twin River Schools.
"Mr. Schapmann brings a very unique background to the position having worked as an administrator for Columbus Public Schools prior to his role as Superintendent at Twin River, we are looking forward to him returning to the leadership team at CPS," said Dr. Chip Kay.
Five district committees assisted in the interviews of the three finalists. We had a very strong group of applicants, which reflects on the good things we have in motion at CPS, said Dr. Kay.
