Our 4th graders are gearing up for their upcoming trip to the Capitol! To get ready, they welcomed Mayor Jim Bulkley, who read to them and shared insights about Nebraska’s unicameral legislature and his role as mayor. Now, they’re excited and prepared for their visit. A big thank you to Mayor Bulkley for spending time with us!

📝✨ Mrs. York's Kindergarten students practice making new words with Large Cards. This chaining exercise is interactive and fun, combining brainpower with movement to keep students engaged and active. Who says learning new reading skills can’t be a full-body experience? 💡💪

Our Centennial 1st graders have been learning about astronomy in reading. Students got to experience outer space up close by observing a meteorite! The students were surprised to find out just how heavy the meteorite was and that the iron inside makes it magnetic.
