 STRIVE tutoring will be held every Tuesday and Thursday from 3:45-5PM in the IMC for the semester.   If a student wants a one-on-one tutoring session with a specific STRIVE tutor the student must fill out the QR code on the flyers hanging in the hallway and classrooms.   Once they fill out the form, a school counselor will contact them to set up an introduction meeting with a STRIVE tutor.   Monday, Friday and Tuesday AM, Wednesday AM, and Thursday AM STRIVE sessions are appointment only this semester.  Questions?  Contact Ms. Seehusen


Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors:   If you are interested in attending Northeast Community College, or just want to check it out, you should attend HAWK DAY on February 20.  At this college event, you will experience a campus tour including the cafeteria; and meet current students. Get your Permission slip from Ms. Seehusen, Ms. Wallin or Mr. Sander. 




Attention Sophomores and Juniors: Auditions for the CHS Captain's Chorale Choir are being accepted Monday, February 5 through Thursday, February 15.  Auditions can be completed online or by signing up outside the choir room.  Students should check Google Classroom or reach out to Mr. Ritter for more information.
 


The Winter Activity pep rally will be held on Wednesday, February 14, from 9:50 a.m. to 10:19 a.m.

At the conclusion of second period, students should go directly to the main gym. Students will sit in their assigned grade levels. At the conclusion of the pep rally, students will go to their third period class.

Parents & Guardians, if you would like to attend, you may arrive at 9:40am and sit on the SE side of the gym.

There will be no STRIVE tutoring after school beginning February 12-15, 2024.



All juniors: The current Junior class (2025) and HR teachers need to come to the auditorium on Monday, 2/12/2024, during homeroom for the 2024-2025 Registration process instructions from the 12th-grade counselor.

 


All Sophomores: The current Sophomore class (2026) and HR teachers need to come to the auditorium on Monday, 2/12/2024, during homeroom for the 2024-2025 registration process instructions from the 11th-grade counselor.

Monday, February 5

  • For any girls interested in tennis, there will be a short meeting on Monday, February 5, after school in Mr. Leibhart's room, F212. If you cannot make it, please email Ms. Leibhart for the information.


  • All students: Columbus Revolution will be presenting here on February 5 and 6 in the concert hall. Below is the schedule for your timeframe as when to attend.
     
    • Grades 11 and 12 will be in attendance on Monday, February 5, from 11:55am to 1:15pm which is period 4 and part of period 5. Please sit by homerooms.
     


Tuesday, February 6

  • The FCCLA parent meeting has been postponed from Tuesday, February 6 to Tuesday, February 13, at 6:30pm in Ms Jaixen's room for any FCCLA member who is interested in attending State Leadership Conference.

Wednesday, February 7

  • There will be a brief informational meeting for boys golf on Wednesday, February 7, immediately after school in Coach Robertson's room (G223).  Contact Coach Robertson if you are unable to attend.  
  • Just a reminder that Wednesday, February 7, is a Wednesday bell schedule with a 2:35 dismissal.

Thursday, February 8

  • Let's support the basketball teams vs Norfolk on Thursday, February 8.  Tip off for the girls is at 5:30 and the boys is at 7:15.

 


Friday, February 9

  • Students--Friday, February 9 will be a 12:00 p.m. dismissal. Breakfast will be served, but no lunch on this date. We will be using the noon dismissal schedule which is below.
