 STRIVE tutoring will be held every Tuesday and Thursday from 3:45-5PM in the IMC for the semester.   If a student wants a one-on-one tutoring session with a specific STRIVE tutor the student must fill out the QR code on the flyers hanging in the hallway and classrooms.   Once they fill out the form, a school counselor will contact them to set up an introduction meeting with a STRIVE tutor.   Monday, Friday and Tuesday AM, Wednesday AM, and Thursday AM STRIVE sessions are appointment only this semester.  Questions?  Contact Ms. Seehusen.


Columbus youth softball registration forms can be found in the office. These games are played at Bradshaw park. 


Any 9th or 10th grade student interested in Health Sciences, is welcome to attend the field trip on Friday, April 26th to UNMC-Norfolk campus.  This field trip will provide lunch, tour of the hospital, along with information about Health Science occupations.   Space is limited for this opportunity. See Ms. Seehusen for a permission slip.
 


Attention, seniors. If you have NOT ordered your graduation items from Jostens yet, please see Mrs. Wallin ASAP. We are reaching a point that it is critical that your order is submitted in order to receive the items in time for the ceremony.


Do you love math? If you want to show what you know, talk to your math teacher about attending the Wayne State College Math Competition on Friday, May 3. It will be a fun-filled day with numbers, problem-solving, and a free lunch!


Are you a singer but are not currently in a music class?  CHS Vocal Music would like to invite you to participate in our medley of songs from the musical Grease as a part of our final concert of the year on May 13.  Rehearsals will be at 7:30am on Tuesday and Thursday mornings in choir room, starting April 23.  Other singers will be on hand to help you learn, and learning tracks of all the music will be available.  Don't miss this chance to be a part of a fun and exciting performance!   • Prom tickets will be sold in the cafeteria during senior and junior lunch on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. The price is $15/person. If you prepaid, those tickets will be available for pick-up at that time. 

Wednesday, April 17

  • Prom tickets will be sold in the cafeteria during senior and junior lunch on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. The price is $15/person. If you prepaid, those tickets will be available for pick-up at that time. 

  • If you are interested in a career in math, science or engineering, come to the field trip on April 17th to Kawasaki in Lincoln.  Learn about all the machines they build and what their career opportunities are after graduation.   If interested get a permission slip from Mr. Johnson, Ms. Albracht or Ms. Pelc.

  • Attention, seniors. Jostens will use the concession stand to distribute your caps and gowns during your lunch period Wednesday, April 17. All unclaimed items will be moved to the IMC to be picked up at a later date.
