STRIVE tutoring will be held every Tuesday and Thursday from 3:45-5PM in the IMC for the semester. If a student wants a one-on-one tutoring session with a specific STRIVE tutor the student must fill out the QR code on the flyers hanging in the hallway and classrooms. Once they fill out the form, a school counselor will contact them to set up an introduction meeting with a STRIVE tutor. Monday, Friday and Tuesday AM, Wednesday AM, and Thursday AM STRIVE sessions are appointment only this semester. Questions? Contact Ms. Seehusen.

There will be a softball meeting in the CHS cafeteria after school on Monday, April 29th at 4:10PM. This meeting is for anyone interested in trying out for the CHS high school fastpitch softball team in the fall. If you have any questions, please contact Coach Plance at plancek@discoverers.org.
EdRising members who plan to attend the UNL/CCC campus tours on May 1st, please pick up a permission slip from Ms. Biggs in room F213 ASAP. If you do not have a signed permission slip, you will not be able to attend.
Just a reminder that Tuesday, April 30, we will be a half day with a dismissal time at noon. We will be using the noon dismissal bell schedule. School will resume on Wednesday, May 1, with the Wednesday bell schedule which is a 2:35 pm dismissal. In addition, no school on Friday, May 3 for students.
For those students owing detention minutes, any grade, we have added Tuesday, May 30, as a date in which you may serve detention time. You may serve minutes at the school from 12:30-3:30pm.

We encourage students from all walks of life to audition either before school Monday, April 29, or after the noon dismissal on Tuesday, April 30. Student Council is now accepting applications for the 24-25 school year. Applications can be found in your building Google classrooms and are due no later than 3:40 on Tuesday, April 23.
Friday, April 26
Any 9th or 10th grade student interested in Health Sciences, is welcome to attend the field trip on Friday, April 26th to UNMC-Norfolk campus. This field trip will provide lunch, tour of the hospital, along with information about Health Science occupations. Space is limited for this opportunity. See Ms. Seehusen for a permission slip.
