Sophomores and Juniors, the PSAT is scheduled for Thursday, October 30th. If you are interested in taking the PSAT, please stop by and see your grade level counselor. Applications are due by, Friday, September 12.


Picture retake day is on Wednesday, September 24, 2025, after school in the IMC (2:35-4:00pm).  If you are doing retakes, please remember to bring back your original picture packet and give it to the photographer.  If you are a new student or did not have your photo taken the first time the photographer was here, you will need to have your photo taken.  You may order and pay online at the studio's website prior to having your photo taken. 


If you are bringing a non CHS student to homecoming, you will need to complete the guest permission form. These forms are available in the office from Ms. Maass. They are due no later than Thursday, October 9, 2025. In addition, please remember that fines must be paid, current year detention time below 3 hours, and all rollover detention time must be at zero to attend homecoming. Questions, please see Ms. Maass.

Tuesday, September 9

  • There will be a speech team informational meeting after school on Tuesday, September 9th, 2025 in the concert hall. Snacks will be provided. Please contact Mr. Klaumann if you are interested but cannot attend the meeting.

Wednesday, September 10

  • Seniors:  Josten's will be here Wednesday, September 10th during homeroom.  Please plan to report to the auditorium after lunch to hear about ordering graduation items.  

Friday, September 12

  • The first Key Club meeting will be on Friday, September 12 at 7:45 AM or 3:45 PM in Room G104. All students are welcome to join. If you have any questions, please contact Ms. Albracht.

  • Friday, September 12th is the deadline to register for the October 18th ACT.  Contact your counselor prior to the deadline if you need a fee waiver.

  • The NSAA sponsors the Believers and Achievers program to recognize high school seniors who demonstrate outstanding commitment to scholastic achievement, activity participation, school and community involvement, and citizenship.

    Eligibility

    • Minimum 3.5 GPA

    • Participation in at least one NSAA-sponsored activity

    • Qualified applicants are eligible for scholarships through NSAA and Currency.
