If you are bringing a non CHS student to homecoming, you will need to complete the guest permission form. These forms are available in the office from Ms. Maass. They are due no later than Thursday, October 9, 2025. In addition, please remember that fines must be paid, current year detention time below 3 hours, and all rollover detention time must be at zero to attend homecoming. Questions, please see Ms. Maass. 


There will be a short boys and girls bowling meeting on Oct. 15 after school for all boys and girls interested in going out for bowling.  The meeting will take place in the cafeteria.  If you are unable to attend, please reach out to Coach Jaster at jasterrb@discoverers.org or Coach Henderson at hendersonj@discoverers.org


Students: You need to bring your student ID to the nurses office for every visit. You will not be able to receive any medication without your student ID. This helps staff to identify who you are when administering medications. Thank you for your cooperation.


The ASVAB test, or Armed Services Vocational Abilities Battery, will be held at CHS on Tuesday, October 28, from 8:10 to 11:00 a.m. The ASVAB assesses students' skills and interests. It can help students identify potential career fields and understand where they are most trainable. The ASVAB also determines military enlistees' eligibility and job training.

Please stop by the school counseling office to sign up by Friday, October 24. Reach out to Ms. Brown or your school counselor if you have any questions. 


.Homecoming tickets will be sold beginning Monday, October 13 through Wednesday, October 15, before and after school and during lunch. On Thursday, October 16, they will be sold only before school and after the noon dismissal. Price will be $10.00 per ticket.


All Juniors, Seniors, or staff that are 17 years or older, please consider donating blood in the upcoming blood drive on Tuesday, November 11th. You can sign up to donate using the QR code on the Blood Drive flyers around the school. You could also talk to a student in NHS, Mrs. Pelc, or Mrs. Riedmiller, and they will get you the link to sign up. If you are 17, you need to have a parent consent form. Please pick this up from and return it to Mrs. Pelc (F201) or Mrs. Riedmiller (F229).
