The Columbus speech team returned to competition January 17th at Raymond Central's "snowpocalypse" tournament. Despite no finalists at the tough meet, our students had strong showings in their events, with multiple students receiving third place or higher on their preliminary ballots, and one student achieving a first place ballot! The excitement and motivation shown by our students has been a joy to witness. We plan to bring our largest group of the season (thus far) to the cross-city Scotus Shamrock meet this upcoming Saturday, so be on the lookout for those results soon enough!
