On Friday, May 8th, twelve Columbus High students travelled to Wayne State to compete at the 50th annual Wayne State Math Contest. The students completed a specific content-level test, which was later scored and used to determine ranks. The group of students also participated in various activities throughout the day. Here are the students who attended the contest and the results!
Pre-Algebra: Guadalupe (1st) and Micah (2nd)
Algebra I: Isabella (4th) and Cameron
Geometry: Leacadia and Opal
Algebra II: Lamara (5th) and Alec (8th)
Pre-Calculus: Jadyn (6th) and Azael
Calculus: Keedyn (1st) and Raj (3rd)
Jeopardy Team (Keedyn, Raj, Azael, Lamara): Champions!
