Centro Hispano celebrates Hispanic Heritage History Month

North Park hosted a group from Centro Hispano to celebrate Hispanic Heritage History Month.

The group read a story to our students and talked about the importance of celebrating all the people who are United States citizens that came to this country from other countries around the world. Many Americans came from several Latin American countries.

Everyone brings a little piece of their old country with them to America. It is one of the things that makes America so special, all the unique qualities people bring and share.

The group performed a dance from Mexico to share some culture with our staff and students.
