North Park Fitbits – Feb. 2024

 February is American Heart Month, and you have the power to protect yourself against heart disease. What are some ways to keep your heart healthy? 

 ·      Focus on eating healthy snacks like fruits and vegetables

·      Exercise regularly - go for a walk or jog, do an exercise video at home, or go for a bike ride                                                 when the weather is nice

·      Give your best effort in PE every day  and move as much as you can during your recess

Body Trivia:  How much blood is in the human body?  About 5-6 litres

Current/upcoming PE Units:  Basketball skills, Tumbling, Jump Rope
