Dental students from Hastings Central Community College came to North Park to give dental screenings and education to any children whose parents stated they would like their services.
Some of our students received :
A fluoride varnish - A protective coating applied to the teeth to help strengthen and protect them from decay.
A dental sealant - A white plastic material applied to the chewing surfaces
of the back teeth to prevent cavities.
● Silver Fluoride - An antibiotic liquid used on cavities to help stop tooth decay.
