The 2019 Winter Art Show, Instrumental Concert, and Waffleman will take place on December 16. Waffles will be available from 5:00 to 7:30 p.m. and tickets are available on-line, at the door, and in the school office. Instrumental concert will begin at 7:30 p.m. in the concert hall. Pep Rally: Thursday, December 5, we will be using the Morning Pep Assembly bell schedule with a 3:40 p.m. dismissal to celebrate our fall achievements and winter activities. The pep rally will be from 10:03 a.m. to 10:25 a.m. At the conclusion of second period, students should go directly to the main gym. Students will sit in their assigned grade levels. At the conclusion of the pep rally, students will go to their third period class. Just a reminder that Columbus High School will host its Winter Sports Parents Night meeting tonight, November 14, at 6 p.m. in the Concert Hall. All parents who have students want to participate in basketball, swimming, wrestling, or Unified bowling are encouraged to attend. This includes parents of Scotus students who are planning to swim at CHS. Students are welcome to attend, but it is not a requirement. Activities Director, Tim Kwapnioski, will have a short address, followed by comments from the CHS Booster Club and Athletic Trainer Rob Marshall. Parents will then go to meetings with their sport-specific coaches.

CHS presents Fiddler on the Roof in the Nantkes Auditorium at Columbus Middle School. Showtimes are Friday, November 8 at 7:00 p.m. and Saturday, November 9 at 2:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. Admission is free with a CHS C-Stamp or adult pass. Admission without a C-Stamp or pass is: $5.00 for adults and $4.00 for students.

Parent Powerlifting Meeting: There will be an informational meeting for any parent of a lifter on Monday, November 11th, in the IMC from 5:00-6:00 p.m. Lifters please make sure your parents attend this meeting.

November 18, 2019 is the first day for winter sports practice.
