Effective Monday, March 16 all NSAA activity practices are suspended until Monday, March 30 and all NSAA activity competitions are suspended until Thursday, April 2. These suspensions may be extended should the conditions warrant. Member schools and student-participants are expected to adhere to the NSAA Constitution & Bylaws and activity manuals during this time. CHS is postponing its Second Annual Statewide Spanish Competition that was to be held on Monday, March 16th. This decision has been made due to health concerns of large group gatherings and recommendations by ECDHD. A new date has yet to be determined.

The Columbus Indoor Guard and Percussion will host the HWWA competition here at Columbus High School on Saturday, March 7 at 4:00 p.m. The event will feature the Columbus High School Winter Percussion, The Tempest Winds, and The Columbus High School Winter Guard along with 15 other performances from units around the area! Admission is $8.00 for adults and $5.00 for students, children under 5 are free. As a sanctioned show of the HWAA, no CPS passes can be honored.
