She is indeed a joy to have in class because her presence brings calmness and coolness. She never complains; and all she does is to give her full attention to what she needs to accomplish in class with excellence. You are truly an amazing kiddo! Saulo is a quiet leader with a great sense of humor. He is kind, respectful, and responsible! He works well with anyone who in his group and is just a great all around student! She uses her classtime wisely and follows school rules. She is kind and helpful to her classmates and teachers. She has a positive attitude and willing to work at whatever is asked of her. Finish the year strong, Emma! ⭐️The Maroon Student of the Week is Nicolas! Even though Nicolas isn't always able to be in class, he always works hard and does an amazing job on every test he takes! He doesn't look to get people's attention, but instead works quietly to do his best on every assignment and test. He is super respectful, responsible, and kind to everyone. Mason always has a positive attitude and is willing to say ok and do the task right away. You are a pleasure to have in the classroom, Mason. Congratulations! ⭐️Elliot is a wonderful student to have in class. He takes his time on tests to make sure he does his best work. He is a good leader and sets a great example for others. Elliot gets along well with his classmates and is always kind. He shows respect to both students and adults every day.

🌕✨ 5th-grade Science Spotlight! ✨🌕 The 5th-grade science classrooms turned into a mini solar system! With the lights out and a lamp shining bright in the center as our “sun,” students each held a foam “moon” on their pencils to explore one big question: “Why do objects in the sky appear to move and change so much?” We kicked off our space unit with a hands-on, 3D demonstration of the phases of the moon, and the students were so engaged as they observed how light and movement affect what we see in the sky. Up next—constellations!
