Parents, Influenza is in our community and area schools so we ask that you keep your child home if you notice ANY of the following symptoms…
Fever or feeling feverish
Chills
Muscle or Body Aches
Headache
Vomiting
Diarrhea
Fatigue
Sore Throat
Or if they just don’t look right...when in doubt please keep them home
And remember a child must be symptom FREE for 24 hours before returning to school.

Our Emerson family is totally out of this world! They rocked Pennies for Patients and raised a total of $1375.59! We are so proud of you Emerson students!

Please stop in and look through our lost and found. All unclaimed hats, gloves, sweatshirts, coats, lunch boxes and ect. will be donated Dec.19th.
Due to increasing snowfall that is to begin around 3:00pm tomorrow, Emerson will have a 2:15 dismissal tomorrow. We will not have school Wednesday-Friday. Have a safe and wonderful Thanksgiving. School will resume on Monday, Dec. 2nd.
Thank you to all the families that came to Book Bingo last night. There were many Bingos and lots of books that went home in student's hands. Thank you to the Emerson PTO for sponsoring this event and also to the teachers that came out to call Bingo numbers!

It is a busy week at Emerson Elementary! Don't forget our fundraising items will be delivered this Tuesday, November 19. We will start handing out orders at 3:35 p.m. and going till 6:00 p.m. We are also inviting you to attend our Emerson Book Bingo with your family this Thursday, November 21 from 6:30-7:30 p.m. More information will come. Please look for it in your child's backpack this week!
