The annual CMS food drive finished up yesterday. We collected a total of 3,555 items for the Platte County Food Bank! Thank you to everyone who donated, STUCO is reviewing the castles and will announce the prizes next week!

CMS STUCO is hosting a Food Drive the week of Nov. 7th. Bring non-perishable food items to your advisory! Classes will build castles with the food they collect and STUCO will vote for the Best Castles at the end of the week! All food collected will be donated to the Platte County Food Bank.

The 8th graders did such an outstanding job reading "The Outsiders" for Language Arts and really seemed to enjoy it! We are now reading the novel "Touching Spirit Bear" by Ben Mikaelsen. The main character has to find a way to deal with a troubled past in order to have a future. Look for these books and packets to be in the students' backpacks today!
