8th grade volleyball game start time has changed for tonight. The bus will leave at 5:00 from CMS. 8B will start once 7th grade is finished and 8A is to follow.

There will be no practice for 8th grade football players.

Early Childhood Education community discussions will take place October 7 & 8 from 7:00 - 8:30 pm at Columbus Middle School. We hope that many from the Columbus community will attend to discuss current needs and challenges that our community is facing.

Congratulations to Ms. Joni Ebel for being recognized as a state finalist for the Presidential Award for Excellence in Mathematics and Science Teaching (PAEMST). This is the highest recognition that a K-12 mathematics or science teacher may receive for outstanding teaching in the United States. The award recognizes those teachers have both deep content knowledge of the subjects they teach and the ability to motivate and enable students to be successful in those areas. We are proud of you Ms. Ebel!

The CMS Student Council hung up over 300 lockers signs during WIN time for students participating in activities and clubs this year.

Football games on Thursday, September 12 will be played at Pawnee Park. 7th grade A team against Blair will start at 4:15. 8th grade A team against Walnut will start right after the 7th grade game. The game will not start any sooner than 5:15.
