lunch

As seen in the 2022 Discoveries back to school edition that was mailed home to all families.

National School Lunch Program (NSLP) is moving back to normal operations for the 2022-2023 school year. What this means for families at Columbus Public Schools is that students who are not on free or reduced status will be required to pay full price for breakfast and lunch qualifying meals.
We encourage every family to take the time and apply for free/reduced status by  Clicking Here
to find directions on how to complete the online form found in your students wordware account.  You can access wordware under the parent portal found on the district homepage or by Clicking Here.

Elementary School Breakfast & Lunch Costs

Reduced Breakfast $0.30
Paid Breakfast $2.10
Reduced Lunch $0.40
Paid Lunch $2.90

Middle School/High School Breakfast & Lunch Costs

Reduced Breakfast $0.30
Paid Breakfast $2.10
Reduced Lunch $0.40

All students, regardless of status, are required to pay for ala carte items or additional servings beyond that of the regular qualifying meal. In order to do this, a student must have a positive balance in their Wordware account.  The Districts unpaid meal policy appears on page 5 of the Discoveries newsletter and should be reviewed.  You may access a digital version of the newsletter by Clicking Here.

There are no additional processing charges this year if you use Wordware to pay lunch accounts, class fees and/or camp registrations.

Funds may be deposited at any building and are placed in a family account.  There is no longer a need to send money for each child to each building.
